Diego Marchioni serves mmTron as fractional CFO, bringing more than 20 years of financial leadership for startups and scale-stage organizations.
As a fractional CFO, Diego works with entrepreneurs and investors to grow and profitably scale their startups while navigating multiple financing rounds. His expertise includes structuring and scaling finance operations, business planning, budgeting, reporting, and executing M&A transactions.
Before this role, Diego was CFO of several venture-backed companies, such as Kidrobot. At Kidrobot, a consumer brand leader in specialty licensed merchandising sold to the NECA Group, he engineered the acquisition of the company and managed all financial operations through its exceptional growth. At WildBrain, an award-winning media company, he negotiated deals with Hollywood majors and raised multiple rounds of financing.
Diego began his career as a senior associate at McKinsey, then served as investment director at Syntek Capital, a European venture capital firm focused on media and technology.
Diego earned an MBA from Profingest/Bologna Business School and an M.Sc. in theoretical physics from Università di Bologna.
