Position Summary

We are looking for a highly capable MMIC Engineering Director with a solid background in MMIC design, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to manage multiple technical teams to efficiently and effectively produce best in class mmWave products. As key senior member of a rapidly growing team, the Engineering Director will report directly to the mmTron VP of Engineering. The candidate will be a key leader in our fast-paced environment with a product focus on MMIC GaAs and GaN power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, switches, and distributed wideband amplifiers. Responsibilities

  • Leading multiple teams in the design, validation, characterization, qualification, and transfer to production of GaAs and GaN MMICs that fully comply with all specifications.

◾ Applications Engineering Hardware Manager 

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Applications Engineering Hardware Manager with a solid background supporting MMIC amplifier products, excellent leadership and teamworking skills, and strong drive to satisfy mmTron’s customers. You will work in a fast paced environment collaborating with Engineering to support product development and validation and Sales supporting key customers. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead characterization of MMIC amplifier products (operating from 100KHz to 110GHz). 
  • Develop (through 3rd parties) evaluation hardware for the validation, characterization, and demonstration of company’s products. 
  • Develop packaging and prototype assembly solutions for company products. 
  • Create customer documentation, including datasheets and related technical publications. 
  • Establish and operate engineering lab facilities. Procure, support and operating MMIC test equipment.

Qualifications Required

  • Demonstrated experience developing application hardware for high-speed (preferably MMIC) semiconductor products and supporting customers through volume production. 
  • Established relationships with 3rd parties including PC board design and assembly, mechanical engineering, test equipment and chip prototyping and packaging vendors. 
  • Solid working knowledge of board design tools (ADS design software including EM simulation Momentum, HFSS, CST).

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Business Development and Marketing Manager to help us find, engage, and manage customers in the 5G cellular, fixed wireless, satellite communications, and communications infrastructure markets. You will work in a fast paced environment with a team of experts developing world-class MMIC GaAs and GaN RF mmWave products. You will find and bring new opportunities to mmTron, growing customer relationships and securing long-term design wins. 

Responsibilities

  • Find and engage new MMIC IC customers and partners in the 5G cellular, fixed wireless, satellite communications, and communications infrastructure markets
  • Develop long-term relationships with key technical/non-technical decision-makers 
  • Clearly communicate mmTron’s value proposition to both technical and non-technical customers 
  • Provide product roadmap inputs based on customer feedback and engagement 
  • Own customer marketing presentations for mmTron’s product portfolio and roadmap 
  • Develop on-line marketing strategy including website content, press releases, and social media  
  • Manage customer programs, coordinating between the customer and mmTron teams: including applications engineering, operations, and sales
