
Dan Teuthorn joined mmTron as Vice President of Engineering after relocating back to California from Texas, where he served as the general manager and acting engineering manager at X-Microwave.
During his tenure at X-Microwave, Dan helped double the company’s revenue run-rate, improved profitability, and enhanced operational sustainability. His key achievements were securing AS9100 certification, implementing ERP and cost accounting systems, and expanding the engineering team for company growth.
Dan began his career as a microwave engineer at Endwave, where he served as a lead engineer and was pivotal scaling the company from a startup to a successful IPO. He later joined Endwave’s executive team, where he led technology initiatives for over a decade, including launching and managing a fabless semiconductor business within the company.
Following Endwave, Dan served as the VP of operations at Gener8, where he drove revenue growth and operational maturity, leading to the acquisition by private equity. As VP of Engineering at Teledyne Microwave, he led technology development and contributed to the growth of the aerospace and defense sectors.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Davis; a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University; and dual MBA degrees from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and Columbia Business School.
