N. Patrick Kelly is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of semiconductor experience at the senior management level. Patrick co-founded and was CEO of Nitero, a mm-wave startup developing wireless Virtual and Augmented Reality (V/AR) solutions. He sold the company to AMD in 2017, staying on as Corporate Vice President, Design Engineering until the end of 2019.

Prior to Nitero, Patrick was General Manager of the Portable System-on-Chip (SoC) group at SigmaTel, which developed solutions for the MP3 and Portable Media Player (PMP) markets and was sold to Freescale in 2008.

Before SigmaTel, Patrick was Director of Engineering at Intel via their acquisition of Level One Communications, working on networking physical layer, repeater, and switch products.

Patrick holds a BSEE from Virginia Tech and a MSEE from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he focussed on device physics.
