Product Description

The TMC254 is a high linearity power amplifier designed for use in 5G, Satcom, and test instrumentation applications in the 24 to 30 GHz range. It provides 8 W of saturated power with 30% PAE. The P1dB power is 38 dBm, and OIP3 is 44 dBm. The nominal drain bias to achieve this performance is 23 V and 588 mA. The input and output are matched to 50 Ω.

The TMC254 is available as a die (TMC254D), measuring 3.0 mm x 3.0 mm x 0.1 mm, or packaged in a 5 mm x 5 mm air-cavity QFN. Die bond pads and backside have Au-based metallization compatible with ribbon and wedge bonding and high conductivity epoxy and eutectic die attach methods.
